First you apply on the Bank of America Career site, then you will get a call back and they will do a quick over the phone interview and they will let you know if they would like to proceed with your job request. They will then schedule you a appointment to go into the office and meet with management, they are very nice and welcoming and yes it is more business than business casual. Make sure to smile and have a copy of your resume. Then they will let you know that they are going to review your application and they will either call you back or email you the status. If you are hired they will then call you and talk with you to set up your new schedule after training, and tell you your start date, but remember that is only if you pass the background check and etc. They will send you a email to do your background check, and the 1st part of your I9 and you would need to set a appointment for your 2nd part of your I9 and to get finger printed. Make sure to finish all of this before your start date or YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE START. So far I am still waiting for my information to come back I finished all of the above I start the 28th of May so I can let you know how the experience is after it all, if you have any questions feel free to ask me. Thank You

Treat the employees that have been there longer than themselves with more respect. Understand that a employee that has over 10 years of service probably knows alot more than given credit for.

Upper management DOES NOT and I repeat, DOES NOT care for employees at the financial center. You are just a number and expected to meet goals. At my center this past Saturday was busy like it always is, I work as fast as I can. I processed 187 transactions, keep in mind we are open for three hours (180 minutes) and we are extremely short staffed so we end up with over time and we were told we aren't allowed to have over time. In a meeting with upper management on why we stay long and have over time we brought up the issue of not having enough staff. The response he gave us was " I completely understand where you are coming from and I get that, but market has set standards and you are expected to execute them". These people will over work you and scold you to death for any simple mistake that is a result of their poor management techniques.

Got very tired after 10 years being in the same position. Watching the brown nose promotions. That is THE ONLY WAY to move up with Bank of America, I wished they would have never mergerd. When it was only Merrill Lynch at least there were more reasons to stay. Bank of America tool ALL those reasons away even the Pay!
