Productive warehouse
Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) –  North Bergen, NJOctober 21, 2019
Productive warehouse, a lot of benefits to offer employees. They push you to your full potential. Position wasn't long term due to the offer I took. Would recommend anyone to apply.

Working at Drape Kings is a team and family feeling . The Owners are hands on and that says a lot about them lead by example how can you not respect that . I have been here for over 6 years and my coworkers are part of my family.

Disrespectful work place with a lack of communication
Warehouse Manager (Former Employee) –  Washington, DCMay 24, 2019
Most days are chaos and employees do not want to help out new team members. When you try to join in to help or to just do the job you are pushed away and have comments made about you behind your back. Operations is mess with having no support from the higher ups when they are there, which is less then a normal 40 hour week. Pay was okay but not enough for the employees aka children you have to watch and tell them what to do every step of the way. As well as people smoking and vaping while working in the warehouse and loading and unloading of trucks. Another issue is the lack of enough people to actually get the job done on time without unneeded stress. Day after day of not enough people burns out the entire team and with the Operations team, they keep spending to a min. So that means not having supplies to do the task at hand.
Cons
unable to take breaks, lunches cut short, lack of support, employees have anger issues, no food options around

Disappointing
Office (Former Employee) –  North Bergen, NJDecember 27, 2018
The management is terrible. Everyone is on pins and needles constantly and ready to cut anyone’s throats just to save themselves from dealing with management. There is no trust. There is no boundaries. There is no respect. I would suggest stay as far away from here as you can if you respect yourself and want to have any form of life yourself. They also try and make examples of people- and will fire anyone at a moments notice, and they’ll try and do it and fight the unemployment til as long as they can.

This close knit family will kill your aspirations.
Office Associate (Former Employee) –  new jerseyDecember 14, 2018
I wouldn't put it past management to post fake reviews. They have no respect for their employees and treat them in a demeaning way. The owner has made homophobic and derogatory comments about gay people. It is just a horrific place to work. I have never heard a truly positive thing said about this place. One can never tell what mood the owner will be in and his relatives are mean spirited and condescending. This has been the worst place that I have ever worked in.
Pros
not being unemployed
Cons
too many to mention

Perfect balance between large and family business
Event Production (Current Employee) –  North Bergen, NJDecember 13, 2018
I really like the management team here, it's a very tight knit family who care about all the employees. You can get lost in a large company where here you can have a voice. They offer all the benefits of a large company without the politics. It's not for the faint of heart, it's really fast paced with lots of events to setup! Days go by really fast during busy season but you get a few months to catch your breath too.
Pros
Family owned but has benefits of major company
Cons
Lots of events so things are bound to happen

productive workplace with plenty of room for growth, plenty of room for overtime, enjoyable part is working independently and in a group setting. Typical work date was 9 hours.

Their classified ad is BS. They expect way too much.

I dreaded working there. The environment was stifling and the management was totally unprofessional. Management makes frequent derogatory comments about sexual orientation. This is a toxic place to work in.

Office Worker (Former Employee) –  North Bergen, NJFebruary 6, 2018
If you want to search for a new job again within a year, then this is the place for you. The turnover is huge !!! The culture is nasty. The environment is disgusting. Rat droppings everywhere. The owners are rats and they have rats in the office. The owners have no idea how to appreciate a good worker and no matter how hard you work, you will get yelled at and made to feel like a piece of poo. Great for morale, hahaha ! RUN, RUN, RUN. Worst place I have ever worked in. I can only go up from here.
Pros
Your paycheck
Cons
Owners treatment of you. No job stability.
